Tails (formally known as Miles "Tails" Prower) is a playable character in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and member of the Mushroom Kingdom Coalition.

While playing as Tails, Tails will have a ring-based damage system like in the first Sonic games. He is the second smallest character in the game and is a bit slower than Sonic. Tails has a higher jump than Sonic.

[edit] Abilities

Tails has many of his abilities from Sonic the Hedgehog 3:

Perform a rolling attack by ducking while running.
Have the Spin Dash by holding down and the run button.
Fly for a limited time without the use of a leaf/tanooki powerup.

Tails will not drown in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion unlike in the original Sonic games. Tails can swim normally and movement may be different from that of the Mario Bros. Tails can also pick up whatever the Mario Bros. can and will also have a run button. Tails, like Sonic will also have a knockback when hit.

10 Rings (Super Mushroom): Tails will gain 10 rings if he has less than 10 rings. If Tails has over 10 rings, then he'll gain the second-tier powerups.
Fire Shield (Fire Flower): Tails will gain a shield that blocks fire-based projectiles.
Kevlar Shield (Hammer Bros. Suit): A forcefield that is nearly projectile proof.
Spartan Suit: Tails will gain a force field. It will work as a regenerating shield, like in Mario's Spartan Suit. It also has magnetic properties to attract coins.
Mega Man Suit: Tails will become Gyroman Tails. Gyroman Tails can fly in this form like in the Racoon and Tanooki forms. Tails also has the Gyro Attack that is controlled by pressing up or down. It can even pierce through walls and ledges.
Racoon Leaf: Tails will become Racoon Tails. Tails will gain better flight abilities and can fly like Racoon Mario.
Tanooki Suit: Tails will become Tanooki Tails. Tails gains better flight abilities and is able to fly like Tanooki Mario. If you hold the run button while crouching, Tails will turn into the Tails Doll from Sonic R, similar to Mario turning into a statue.
Yashichi Power: Tails will become Super Tails from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
