The
Mushroom Kingdom Coalition (shortened to
MK Coalition) is an alliance of heroes whose worlds are under siege by the forces of
Legion in
Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. In each
world, the Coalition has set up a building called the
Mushroom Kingdom Coalition HQ, where the player can switch out characters. Their direct competition lies in the
Anti-Coalition, a group of misfit heroes whose worlds are suffering the same fate as those of the MK Coalition, thereby having similar goals, but approach their goals with a moral code that clashes with the MK Coalition's own.
