October 3, 2008: Due to spam edits on this Wiki's host, Wiki-Site, the host admins (not us) had to put up an extra security measure. No more unregistered edits are allowed, and you are required to confirm your e-mail address before you are allowed to edit this Wiki.
Style guidelines
This is not a formal encyclopedia like the Wikipedia. However, for readability, it is recommended that you follow Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Make your articles look like standard Wikipedia articles. Use templates and headers where necessary. It makes the articles look better.
Quality Control Editors Needed
Many of the current articles on this Wiki are in need of cleanup. Basically, these articles need formatting to have a uniform look trhoughout the Wiki. You can help by making the edits yourself.
Disabling the WYSIWYG editor
While the WYSIWYG editor is helpful to beginners, it often corrupts the actual Wiki markup. This is frustrating to those who have knowledge of Wiki markup.
To disable the WYSIWYG editor:
- Log into your account
- Go to "my preferences" (link is at the upper right area of every page on this Wiki).
- Go to the "Rich Editor" tab.
- Place a checkmark in every option in that tab.
- Save your changes.
How to create a new article
- Type the name of the article you want to create in the search box on the left.
- If the article does not exist, you will see a page that tells you this.
- You can create the new article by clicking on the "create this page" red link shown on the aforementioned page.
